Lack of involvement of nutrients in the latency of colletotrichum gloeosporioides in unripe avocado persea americana var drymifolia cultivar reed fruits

, : Lack of involvement of nutrients in the latency of colletotrichum gloeosporioides in unripe avocado persea americana var drymifolia cultivar reed fruits. Phytopathologische Zeitschrift 110(2): 106-109

Hypobaric pressures prevented the ripening of avocado fruit discs and the development of C. gloeosporioides infection on them. The same condition did not prevent the growth of C. gloeosporioides on patato dextrose agar. The resistance of unripe avocado fruit discs does not originate in the lack of substrate for fungal growth.
