Lack of responsiveness to bromocriptine of Cushing's disease elevated ACTH

, : Lack of responsiveness to bromocriptine of Cushing's disease elevated ACTH. Archivos de Farmacologia Y Toxicologia 3(2): 171-176

A patient with high ACTH blood levels and Cushing's disease was treated with bromocriptine for 6 mo. Bromocriptine did not decrease the high basal ACTH blood levels, nor did it affect the ACTH response to the lysine-vasopressin stimulation test.
