Life factors affecting bronchial asthma of school children 3. relation between the fits and the living conditions

, : Life factors affecting bronchial asthma of school children 3. relation between the fits and the living conditions. Memoirs of Osaka Kyoiku University Series III Natural Science and Applied Science 28(2-3): 141-150

A camping excursion during summer and spring holidays for physical training of 42 school children with asthma was used. To examine the fits comprehensively and positively, living conditions of asthma children and various examinations, in particular the breast test, were studied. The quantity of motion had no detrimental effect on the occurrence of fits. Moderate exercise has a good effect because it would prevent one from thinking of his fits. Study of the relation between 2 groups of children having fits and no fits during camping showed that there is a difference in the adaptability to living conditions, personality and the attitudes of parents in the upbringing of their children. While the physical fatigue occurs as the result of fits, mental exhaustion seems likely to induce the occurrence of fits.
