Methodological aspects of using mathematical methods for analyzing electro encephalograms in clinical neuro physiology

, : Methodological aspects of using mathematical methods for analyzing electro encephalograms in clinical neuro physiology. Fiziologiya Cheloveka 7(5): 859-867

A classification of mathematical methods of analyzing EEG is discussed with respect to various types of pathological disturbances on EEG. The maximum volume of EEG data was evaluated. A criterion for evaluating the usefulness of the data obtained from EEG on pathological changes was proposed. A method for filtrating the structure of basic components using Walsh functions was described. This method may be used in the physiological interpretation of EEG data by the linear model method.
