The dependence of available moisture content in soil on the degree of soil salinity was determined in vegetation experiments and may be presented by a logistic function, expressed by Verhuhlst equation: y = A/(1 + 10a+bx), where y is the available (for plants) moisture content in soil (% of the same value in a non-saline soil); A-available moisture content in a non-saline soil (A = 100%); x-toxic salts content (%); a and b are parameters of the slope, curve and inflexion point of the logistic regression curve. Parameters of this equation are determined.
