Observations on sexuality in collybia butyracea using a simplified crossing technique

, : Observations on sexuality in collybia butyracea using a simplified crossing technique. Mycotaxon 14(1): 305-308

A simplified technique used in making multiple mating compatibility tests reduces the cost of agar and greatly reduces the space required for these tests. The technique is employed using C. butyracea. Crosses between homokaryotic isolates indicate tetrapolar heterosexuality. Taxonomic placement is discussed.
