On the genus blennidus motschulsky 1865 coleoptera carabidae pterostichini

, : On the genus blennidus motschulsky 1865 coleoptera carabidae pterostichini. Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali Bollettino (Turin) 4(2): 369-394

The study of many specimens belonging to the genus Blennidus shows that the species near B. peruvianus Dejean are numerous. The author gives a key for their determination and describes the following new species: pseudoperuvianus (with subsp. punctulatus); quadrilamatus; cuzcanus; laurentianus; azurescens; mauritii. Pterostichus marsyasicus Straneo 1951 belongs at least provisionally to the genus Blennidus; for Blennidus violaceotinctus Straneo 1952 the new genus Blenniventer is described.
