A systematic study of the platyspermic seeds found in the paleophytological Gondwanic association of Monte Mor, Sao Paulo State, Brazil was developed. The fossil plants, preserved like impressions, are represented by the following species: Cordaicarpus nitens (Feruglio) comb. nov. [Eucerospermum nitens] and C. barbosanus sp. nov., mentioned for the 1st time in Lower Gondwana from Brazil, and Samaropsis seixasii in Tubarao Group of Sao Paulo State.
