Quantitative analysis of previous research on use of evaluation

, : Quantitative analysis of previous research on use of evaluation. Psychological Reports 53(1): 215-221

Effect-size computations for previous quantitative studies of the use of information on program evaluation are reported with a view toward identifying patterns in previous results and possible directions for further research. Evidently, more non-simulation studies, more studies using non-university samples and more studies investigating the possible influences of context on use of evaluation are needed. Although this literature is still emerging, such research may eventually provide guidance for more effective evaluative practices.
