Phytomass and dynamics of ash elements and N were determined in a pure even-aged T. argentea Desf. stand, 33 yr old. The stand is highly productive with a total phytomass 245.59 t/ha (dry), where 195.28 t/ha is aboveground and 50.31 t/ha is root phytomass. Leaves are richest in N and ash-elements. In decreasing series are the bark of the thin and thick branches, roots and stump. The stump wood is poorest of the elements investigated. Bark of the aboveground fractions is richer in ash-elements than in the wood by 5-7 times, and of the roots by 9-10 times. Differences in the N content in the bark and in the wood are less. The stand has accumulated 4037.64 kg/ha biogenic elements. More of the half of that quantity (53.8%) is Ca, 28.0%-N, 11.2%-K, 4.5%-Mg, 1.5%-P, 1.5%-Fe and 0.1%-Mn. Ca, N and K are of a great significance for the biological cycle of the stand. For forming of the current annual increment and leaves, the silver linden stand obtains 719.06 kg/ha N and ash-elements, 64.9% of which return to the soil by the litter (94%) and leaf and branch shedding (6%). The highest rate of return is for P and Mg-75.5%, while the return of K, Fe and Mn is about 58.0%.
