Conostigmus triangularis (Thomson, 1858) comb. nov. (formerly in Ceraphron and Lygocerus) is described. The male (.male.) is neatly described, a list of synonymus is provided and a new synonym; Conostigmus zaglouli Kamal, 1926, is proposed with a lectotype. The geographical distribution is Europe, South Africa and North America.
