Serum immuno globulin levels in nippostrongylus brasiliensis infection

, : Serum immuno globulin levels in nippostrongylus brasiliensis infection. Clinical and Experimental Immunology 30(2): 330-332

The levels of Ig[immunoglobulin]G1, IgG2a, IgG2c, IgA and IgM in the serum of normal rats, and at various times after infection or re-infection with N. brasiliensis were measured to compare these responses with previously measured IgE levels. While the levels of the various Ig classes or subclasses are elevated to a greater or lesser extent, the increments are modest by comparison with the great elevation of total IgE.
