Stereochemical control in the biomimetic conversion of hetero yohimbine alkaloid precursors isolation of a novel key intermediate

, : Stereochemical control in the biomimetic conversion of hetero yohimbine alkaloid precursors isolation of a novel key intermediate. Journal of the Chemical Society Chemical Communications (14): 618-619

The isolation of a novel key intermediate related to cathenamine [Guettarda eximia] and its conversion in a stereoselective sequence of reactions into tetrahydroalstonine and 19-epiajmalicine afford new information concerning the biosynthesis of heteroyohimbine alkaloids.

Qualitative differentiation of the diet in communal feeding of working people with regard to the working environment and conditions is discussed; particular attention is given to a suitable fat allowance for miners.

The factor XII genes of two unrelated factor XII-deficient Japanese families were screened, and two novel mutations were identified. A heterozygous mutation (Q421K) was identified in the gene of a cross-reacting material (CRM)-negative patient wit...

The combined effects of increased hypothalamic signaling by neuropeptide Y (NPY) and decreased signaling by melanocortins are hypothesized to stimulate food intake when body fat stores are depleted. To investigate NPY's role in the hyperphagi...

Chronic alcohol consumption is a critical contributing factor to ischemic stroke, as it enhances ischemia-induced glutamate release, leading to more severe excitotoxicity and brain damage.
