Synthesis and biological activity of 7 8 substituted theophyllines

, : Synthesis and biological activity of 7 8 substituted theophyllines. Khimiko-Farmatsevticheskii Zhurnal 21(1): 55-59

Theophilline derivatives having morfoline or piperidine fragments in position 8 and high-basic amidinoalkyl groups in position 7 have been synthesized. It has been established that some 7,8-substituted theophyllines are capable of depressing anaphylactic oedema but at the same time have no antihistaminic activity.
