The number of induced ESR signals and number of cells having chromosome aberrations in dry barley seeds depends on irradiation conditions (single or fractionated exposures and varying dose rates) and duration of post-irradiation storage. Radiobiological effects caused in dry seeds by fractionated irradiation and varying dose rates are of different nature.
