Roth var. himalaica (Clarke) Johri et Sharma are additions to the State list. An artificial key, diagnostic description, local and English names, besides the valid nomenclature and relevant synonyms cited in flora(s) of adjoining States, have been given; phenological and ecological notes, geographical distribution and economic (including ethnobotanical) uses are mentioned.
