, : The treatment of gout a case for medical audit. Scottish Medical Journal 23(1): 9-11

An assessment of quality of drug control of hyperuricemia in gouty subjects is reported. Some 27 patients were hyperuricemic. Factors influencing compliance with drug therapy included awareness of the natute of gout and excessive alcohol consumption.
