X rays induced variation in wheat

, : X rays induced variation in wheat. Agricultural Science Digest 4(3): 135-137

The germination percentage, height of the plant and 1,000 grain weight showed inverse association with dose of X-rays. So far as the number of tillers and grain number are concerned, they showed that lower doses proved to be beneficial, but there was an injurious effect of higher doses in both characters.
