Five species of Pezizales (Ascomycetes) from the States of Michoacan, Morelos, Queretaro and Veracruz (Mexico) were studied. These fungi are: Cheilymenia crucipila (Cke. and Pill.) Le Gal, Ch. rubra (Pill.) Boud, Cookeina colensoi (Berk.) Seaver, Melastiza chateri (Smith) Boud. and Otidea leporina var. minor (Rhem) Sacc. All of them, except Cookeina colensoi are new records from Mexico, however, the last species was reported from Mexico without description.
