Gliofibrillar acid protein gfap in mouse scrapie

, : Gliofibrillar acid protein gfap in mouse scrapie. Travaux Scientifiques des Chercheurs du Service de Sante des Armees (9): 87-88

During the mouse scrapie evolution, the mechanisms of GFAP and PrP production (hydrophobic sialoglycoprotein with a molecular weight of 33,000 to 35,000) is not equivalent; GFAP increase but there is not significant difference between normal and pathologic protein. But the pure GFAP is without infectious properties.
