Impossibility to eliminate disturbances of integrative activity induced by the impairment of the amygdalar in unilateral transplantation of amygdala embryonic tissue

, : Impossibility to eliminate disturbances of integrative activity induced by the impairment of the amygdalar in unilateral transplantation of amygdala embryonic tissue. Zhurnal Vysshei Nervnoi Deyatel'nosti Imeni I P Pavlova 41(4): 831-835

Experiments were carried out in amygdalatomized rats to study the compensatory potentials of the transplantation of embryonic tissue. Three types of tests were conducted which made it possible to investigate emotional and motivational responses in the animals. Differences in the effect of transplantation on feeding behavior before and after training showed that changes in the motivation behavior can occur relatively independently from the learning processes when the learning being formed on the basis of the same motivation responses.
