The genetic control of hybrid necrosis in tomato

, : The genetic control of hybrid necrosis in tomato. Genetika 26(8): 1448-1456

New hypothesis of genetic control of hybrid necrosis in tomato, according to which this phenomenon in caused monogenetically by the locus of incompatibility (S), or by another gene closely linked to the S gene, has been suggested. These ideas also concern species of cereals in which necrosis and incompatibility have digenous character.
