We review some of the recently FDA approved drugs in dermatology, including masoprocol cream (topical treatment of actinic keratoses on the head and neck), topical azelaic acid (for acne), and doxepin cream (topical antipruritic agent), with emphasis on the clinical trials and adverse effects.
