Using allogenic and xenogenic hepatocytes in clinical practice caused interests of medical and veterinary researchers long ago. Failure to cultivate hepatocytes in artificial media resulted in forming new methods of hepatocyte isolation from donor's livers, developing ways of as long as possible keeping their morphological stability and functional and metabolic activity in order to use them under accute hepatic insufficiency of various etiology.
