Evaluation of the synthetic sexual pheromone on the reproductive behavior of Mocis latipes (Guenee)(Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

, : Evaluation of the synthetic sexual pheromone on the reproductive behavior of Mocis latipes (Guenee)(Lepidoptera: Noctuidae). Anais da Sociedade Entomologica do Brasil 27(1): 9-20

During scotophase, females of Mocis latipes (Guenee) landed on vertical surfaces and started calling behavior, raising slowly the wings, lifting the tip of abdomen and everting the ovipositor. Females started calling at the 2nd day after emergence, and the maximum number of calling was observed in the 4th day. The beginning of calling started at the 2nd hour in the scotophase with a peak in the 3rd hour.
