, : First record of phlebotomine sandflies in New Caledonia and description of two new species (Diptera Psychodidae Phlebotominae). Memoires du Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle Serie A Zoologie 157(0): 123-129

Phlebotomine sand-flies (Psychodidae Phlebotominae) are recorded for the first time in New Caledonia. Two species are described in the genus Australophlebotomus, A. maduloae n. sp. and A. nottheghemae n. sp. Each species is represented by two male specimens. Two females ("A" and "B") collected in the same or other localities seem to belong to these two species.
