Germ burden in textile pledgets for skin disinfection

, : Germ burden in textile pledgets for skin disinfection. International Journal of Experimental & Clinical Chemotherapy 5(3): 175-179

The handling of pledgets for skin disinfection before injections and punctures was shown to be different in clinical examinations. The germ burden in 3 types of textile pledges was examined. Highest germs counts where found in handmade ones. The only total germ removal was given by soaked peracetic acid.
