Liposomes as immunoadjuvants for saccharide antigens

, : Liposomes as immunoadjuvants for saccharide antigens. Journal Of Liposome Research. 5(3): 453-465

Liposomal membranes, consisting of phospholipids, cholesterol and inserted glycolipids or glycoproteins are used in immunology for totally different purposes: receptor studies, targetting, immunopotentiation and stabilization. This manuscript deals with general aspects of these type of liposomes, their applicability, immunological characterization and limitations in its present form as a model vaccine.
