Sea-blue histiocyte syndrome: A case report

, : Sea-blue histiocyte syndrome: A case report. Cocuk Sagligi ve Hastaliklari Dergisi 39(3): 527-532

Sea-blue histiocyte syndrome is characterized by hepatosplenomegaly and the presence of numerous histiocytes containing bright sea-blue-colored cytoplasmic granules in the bone marrow, spleen, lymph nodes, liver and kidney. Because of its very rare presentation, we present here a 5.5-year-old boy who suffered from sea-blue histiocyte syndrome along with a review of the related literature.
