Ecosystem researches in special view of the most important phytophagous insects in the reed of lake Balaton

, : Ecosystem researches in special view of the most important phytophagous insects in the reed of lake Balaton. Mededelingen Faculteit Landbouwkundige en Toegepaste Biologische Wetenschappen Universiteit Gent 63(2A): 379 - 384

The largest lake of Central Europe is called Balaton in life of which the reed are taking an important role. Reed degradation can be caused by various factors. In the course of our ecosystem researches the occurrence and individual density of various damaging insects as well as the degree of damages caused by them were examined in reed of the northern coast of Balaton. In the following paper, the frequency and damagings as well as the part in reed destruction taken by Giraudiella inclusa, Lasioptera hungarica, Lipara spp., Euthrix potatoria and some other damaging insects of less importance (plant aphids and scales) will be explained.
