Investigacion Agraria Produccion y Sanidad Animales 17(1-2): 81-92

A feeding trial with broiler chickens to study the efficacy of plant (rye bran) and microbial phytase on growth performance, plasma P and tibia ash, and an in vitro assay to study the rye bran enzyme stability by changing temperature (25 to 75 degreeC) and pH (2.2 to 8.2) were conducted. Treatments involved a normal P level corn-soybean diet and three low P diets including 10% of rye bran non heated or heated without or with microbial phytase (500 units kg-1).
