Ecotropicos (Caracas) 13(2): 67-74

We studied the taxonomic structure of the herpetofauna to assess the Pinus caribaea forests' effect on natural savannas in Uverito, and its possible recover, after harvesting. The herps were collected monthly, during one year, with pitfall traps in Uverito, Monagas State, Venezuela.
