Efectos de las estatinas en el transplante renal

, : Efectos de las estatinas en el transplante renal. Medicina (Buenos Aires) 60(4): 457-465

A retrospective analysis was performed to assess the immunosuppressive activity of statins in kidney transplantation, determining their effects on serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels postransplantation, on the incidence of acute rejection episodes and on renal function. A total of 97 patients who underwent a kidney transplant in a three-year period, had more than one-month graft survival, and a minimum of one year of follow-up, were included.
