Interciencia 27(10): 544-550

Cultures of Saccharomyces cerevisiae were submitted to magnetic fields of high frequency (up to 100kHz) and low flux density (up to 620mG). Statistical designs of response surfaces were used to assess the ranges in which flux density, frequency and application time produce significant effects on cell concentration (CB).
