The objective of this study was to verify the effect of acibenzolar-S-methyl on common bean seeds germination and vigor, and its ability as resistance inductor, to control bacterial wilt, caused by Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens pv. flaccumfaciens. The doses of acibenzolar-S-methyl tested for seed treatment were 25, 50 and 125 g a.i./100 kg of seeds.
