Efeito direto e residual da solarizacao do solo no controle de Verticillium dahliae e de plantas infestantes na cultura da berinjela (Solanum melongena), em campo naturalmente infestado

, : Efeito direto e residual da solarizacao do solo no controle de Verticillium dahliae e de plantas infestantes na cultura da berinjela (Solanum melongena), em campo naturalmente infestado. Summa Phytopathologica 26(4): 445-450

Soil solarization was studied at Araras (Sao Paulo, Brazil) (22degree 18'S e 47degree 23'W) for two consecutive years to verify direct and residual effects for control of Verticillium dahliae and weed infestation on eggplant crop (Napoli hybrid) in a naturally infested soil. A 75 mum-thick transparent polyethylene plastic film, treated against UV light, was utilized during the process of solarization.
