Efeito do aluminio na actividade da nitrato redutase in vitro em plantulas de triticale

, : Efeito do aluminio na actividade da nitrato redutase in vitro em plantulas de triticale. Revista de Ciencias Agrarias 23(3-4): 19-28

Plant tolerance to acidity and to excess of Al in soil is often related to the ability to increase the pH in the rhizosphere and consequently the amount of toxic Al in the soil solution. The pH changes had been correlated to differential uptake of the nitrogen forms, nitrate and ammonium. The supply of nitrate induces increases in rhizosphere. The reduction of nitrate to nitrite is the first and critical point of nitrogen metabolism of plants.
