Ejaculates had been collected form tem adult healthy male dogs by digital manipulation and evaluated by microscope. The semen was divided in two samples, centrifuged and supernatant was substituted by nonfat dried milk-glucose extender or homologous seminal plasma. Assessments of sperm motility, vigor and pH were made at times 30, 60, 120 minutes and 24 hours, in both samples, stored into a water bath at 37degreeC.
