Normalization rate of metabolic and immunologic indices in the treatment of hydrocephalus

, : Normalization rate of metabolic and immunologic indices in the treatment of hydrocephalus. Uzbekiston Tibbiet Zhurnali (1-2): 83-85, January-April

The investigation was carried in 82 children with hydrocephalus divided into 2 groups. the first group (41 patients) received conventional treatment, the second modified therapy with aevit and immunomoduline. normalization of metabolic and immunologic indices was significantly earlier in patients of the second group. the tendency was revealed toward improvement of leading neurologic disorders hydrocephalic syndrome, psychomotor development, regression of focal symptoms in these patients. the duration of stay was reduced by a mean 2.8 days.
