, : An experimental study of Guiqi oral liquid on inhibition of renal interstitial fibrosis in rats. Wuhan Daxue Xuebao (Yixue Ban) 26(4): 491-493

Objective: To investigate the mechanism of renal interstitial fibrosis after unilateral ureteral obstruction and the renoprotective effect of Guiqi oral liquid, a traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: Twenty four rats were randomly assigned to the control group (sham operation group), operation group and Guiqi treatment group after the unilateral ureteral obstruction. Renal tissues were examined by light microscopy two weeks after operation.
