Effect of probiotics preparation in treatment of ulcerative colitis

, : Effect of probiotics preparation in treatment of ulcerative colitis. Zhongguo Xinyao yu Linchuang Zazhi 25(6): 449-452

It has been demonstrated that the intestinal flora plays an important role in the pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis (UC). Probiotics can probably prevent and treat UC effectively through the mechanism by mainly modulating mucosal immune activity and epithelial barrier function as a biological antagonist, which has already been proven by clinical trials for maintaining UC treatment.
