Genetic variation and genotype of Newcastle disease virus isolates in Luoyang area of Henan Province

, : Genetic variation and genotype of Newcastle disease virus isolates in Luoyang area of Henan Province. Chinese Journal of Veterinary Science 26(5): 491-495

The main functional fragment of the fusion gene of 15 Newcastle disease virus (NDV) strains was amplified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and sequenced after being cloned into pMD-18-T plasmids. Through sequence analysis, the phylogenetic tree was constructed based on the nucleotide obtained (47-435 bp), and the virulence and genotype of the 15 NDV strains were confirmed. The 15 isolates could be divided into 3 groups.
