Investigations were conducted in northern Ossetia, southern Russia, during 2002-04 to study fodder properties, biological and industrial characteristics, and the possibility of practical use of Jerusalem artichoke in the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania based on chemical composition and nutrient content in the green plants.
