What are the growth losses in 7 cultivars of poplar due to damage by the E4 larch rust?

, : What are the growth losses in 7 cultivars of poplar due to damage by the E4 larch rust?. Foret Entreprise (168): 60-63

Growth data (1993-97 and 1998-2002) from 426 poplar stands in NE France were used to evaluate the susceptibility of cultivars Beaupre, Boelare, Dorskamp, Ghoy, I 214, Raspalje and Unal. Beaupre and Boulare were most damaged by E4 rust (Melampsora larici-populina) with up to 27 and 29% growth loss, respectively. Dorskamp and I 214 show no growth loss at all, while maximum growth loss of Ghoy and Unal is 10%.
