Dependence of weed seed germination, root and sprout formation on different acidity media

, : Dependence of weed seed germination, root and sprout formation on different acidity media. Vagos (72): 53-60

The experiments were carried out in two steps (laboratorial and vegetative trials) to analyse the germination of four weed species: Tripleurospermum inodorum (L.) Sch. Bip., Chenopodium album L., Rumex crispus L. and Cirsium arvense L. The aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of environmental acidity (pH) on weed seed germination and formation of their seedling roots and sprouts.
