Toxicity of certain botanical extracts to red spider mite and black bean aphid

, : Toxicity of certain botanical extracts to red spider mite and black bean aphid. Annals of Agricultural Science, Moshtohor 38(4): 2551-2562

The acaricidal activities of plant extracts were evaluated in Egypt against red spider mite (RSM; Tetranychus urticae), black bean aphid (BBA; Aphis fabae) and potato aphid. Under semi-field conditions, lima bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) plants with RSM and faba bean plants with BBA were treated with the extracts, then transferred to plastic cages (protected conditions) or to the open field. In the greenhouse, pepper seedlings were infested with RSM and potato aphid.
