, : Bovine septic podermatitis: clinial evolution of the early stage. Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science 43(5): 674-680

This study was conducted to describe the clinical signs of the initial phase of septic pododermatitis in 30 Girolando cows under the same handling care from different farms in the State of Goias. Following the diagnosis, the animals were submitted to daily clinical examination of the hooves for 15 days. The presence of fistula in interdigital space or the end of the observation time were considered as the end of the initial phase.
