Influence of long-term plant cultivation and nitrogen fertilization on the content of soluble forms of trace elements in a lessive soil

, : Influence of long-term plant cultivation and nitrogen fertilization on the content of soluble forms of trace elements in a lessive soil. Polish Journal of Environmental Studies 15(2A(I)): 36-41

The content of available forms or potentially available elements in soil depends on several factors, including cultivated plants and nitrogen fertilizer application. The influence of these factors on the above forms of elements was investigated in a long-term field trial (26 years) conducted in Zotniki near Poznan, Poland. Five crop rotations were considered with variable share of cereals (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%) and four levels of nitrogen, differentiated for the particular plants.
