Comparative use of modern imaging techniques for the diagnosis of pneumonia in three Indian pythons (Python morulus)

, : Comparative use of modern imaging techniques for the diagnosis of pneumonia in three Indian pythons (Python morulus). Tierarztliche Praxis Ausgabe K, Kleintiere/Heimtiere 34(4): 275-282

Objective: The study was conducted to examine the practicability and value of the non-invasive computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging techniques (MRI) in examination of the snakes lung. Material and methods: Three Indian pythons (Python molurus) with severe clinical signs of dyspnoea and infected with microbiological pathogens supported by postmortem findings of severe pneumonia were used for radiological, CT and MRI examination.
