A comparison of some strains of Rhisoctonia solani in culture

, : A comparison of some strains of Rhisoctonia solani in culture. Journ. Agric. Res, 36: 10, 897-903

The results of comparative cultural studies of Rhizoctonia, solani from potato and of the Rhizoctonia isolated from grass injured by brown patch are fully described. The latter strain makes more rapid growth at 25 degrees and and 30 degrees C. than the former, but otherwise the morphological and physiological differences between the cultures are too variable to Serve as diagnostic characters.
